Thank You and See You in 2020!

Anyone who knows me knows one of my biggest gripes is people not saying thank you. I find it so irritating. How hard is it, really, to email or text a quick “thank you” to someone who has helped you or done something nice for you?

Well, it recently occurred to me that I haven’t said thank you enough to some people who play a huge part in my life (even if they may not know it) — all of you. So, thank you NGO Storytelling community!

Thank you to everyone who liked NGO Storytelling on Facebook or shared one of our posts there, including Abhishek Scariya, Jade Hawes, Chantal Richards, Roli Castro Ng, Sonia Anne Ellem, Drew Weatherstone, Min Hee Jin, Ashok Shah and Jennifer King.

Thank you to everyone who tagged and liked us on Instagram, including Foundation 22 Stars, Val Mosley, Hawa Images, Renzo Grande, Erica Baker, George Olney, Alyssa Anne, Mark Locki, All We Can, Action for Women, Bryan Otieno Opany, ECF India, Rafa Lanus, Kristi Libutti Burton, Penny Husted-Gamm and Eduardo Santangelo.

Thank you to all the people who allowed us to interview them for various stories or who wrote columns for us this year: Jennifer Lentfer, Veejay Villafranca, KC Nwakalor, Lisa Murray, Abhijit Alka Anil and James Roh.

Thank you to all the people who emailed me or Crystaline with questions, comments, constructive criticism and supportive messages.

And finally, thank you to all NGO Storytelling readers. This year we had over 28,000 unique visitors to the website and our most popular posts of the year were:

Survey Results: How Much Are Photographers Paid by International NGOs
Why Look Away? One Filipino Photographer on Why Local Authorship and Representation Matter in Photography
Communications Strategist Jennifer Lentfer on Creating a New Narrative for Nonprofits

Crystaline and I look forward to what 2020 brings everyone in the NGO Storytelling community. Enjoy the holidays and have a great New Year!
